Review of Planimeter

Planimeter is a sophisticated application designed for measuring distances and calculating land areas using customizable units of measurement. Leveraging Apple Maps, GPS, and network location services, it proves to be an invaluable tool for users whether outdoor or on the move. It is important to note, however, that GPS functionality operates optimally with an unobstructed view of the sky.

Features:

 <li>Calculates total distance and the distance between adjacent points (flags).</li>
 <li>Measures area regardless of its shape.</li>
 <li>Allows precise placement and adjustment of flags using a magnifying feature that reveals the map beneath your finger.</li>
 <li>Options to remove individual flags or clear all at once, with automatic shape recreation and value updates.</li>
 <li>Determines GPS location effectively.</li>
 <li>Supports various distance units: meters, kilometers, yards, feet, miles, and nautical miles.</li>
 <li>Offers multiple area units: square meters, square kilometers, square feet, acres, square yards, square miles, and square nautical miles.</li>
 <li>Enables regional searches on the map by addresses, cities, counties, rivers, mountains, islands, and countries.</li>
 <li>Facilitates screenshot saving to Photos or sharing via email, Facebook, or Twitter.</li>
 <li>Provides options for viewing standard, satellite, or hybrid map types.</li>
